In 2005, the Peace & Justice Center’s Community Mediation Program was renamed the Fr. James Doyle, CSC, Community Mediation Institute (CMI).
The program has 3 major components:
A mediation program that uses trained mediators to help people settle disputes;
Peer mediation training program for schools, agencies, individuals;
A program to provide continuing training and enrichment for mediators.
The Community Mediation Institute (CMI) offers mediation services for disputes between family members, landlords and tenants, neighbors, management and workers, and other individuals and groups.
